About Joseph Eckert

Joseph is an avid photographer, father, and husband. He has a master’s degree in Political Science and an eclectic professional background. He loves video games, films and novels, friendly dogs, grumpy cats, cooking, and imagination.

Joseph’s work crosses genres but generally hews closer to speculative fiction and fantasy with a sprinkling of horror and a dusting of philosophical musings. Character remains paramount: tossing a character into the proverbial tree and throwing rocks at them to see what they do is most interesting when the reader cares about them.

About TC Eckert

T.C. Eckert was raised on a ranch outside a small, western town. Although his family knew the hard work of dirt and dust, they were college educated and placed a high value on a sense of history, place, and family. He has a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Psychology, and a doctorate in Education. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

His work is character driven and attempts to make the reader care deeply about the novel’s inhabitants. He places his characters in environments with which he is most familiar—small, rural communities of the west, mid-west, and the low country of the deep south. His work includes a good deal of humor, despite the struggles and perils to which the characters may be subjected. T.C. believes it is humor and the ability to look sideways at life from time to time that allows us to experience the gift of hope.
